The pandemic is far from over. Many businesses and individuals have been impacted since the start of the pandemic and the unemployment rate in Malaysia has risen to 4.8%. Malaysia’s Department of Statistics has confirmed that there were almost eight hundred thousand individuals unemployed as of November 2020.
If you still have a steady job to go to everyday, be thankful. But if you have been impacted in any way by the pandemic-induced recession, hang in there. Things will only get better if we choose not to be beaten down by this pandemic. Last year, Redbeat Academy received over 1,200 Allstars (employees) who enrolled to upskill and reskill themselves amidst the peak of the pandemic and various lock-downs.
