In conjunction with Budget 2021, Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) has announced a detailed Stimulus Recovery Plan to reinvigorate domestic tourism within the country. The initiative involves the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia campaign in cooperation with travel industry players.

As one of the airlines participating in this stimulus plan, AirAsia will distribute RM50 e-vouchers to 24,000 domestic travellers. These will be available to eligible Malaysians  on a first come first served basis for travel when the current Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) is lifted. This is due to happen on 6th December 2020. The e-vouchers will stimulate domestic tourism and help generate income for tourism-related businesses including hotels, restaurants and tour operators.

Where to go first? Langkawi? You can also get some great offers for flight/hotel packages by selecting SNAP on the menu bar.

The e-vouchers will be made available for public redemption on AirAsia’s website, airasia.com until 13th December. Travel from 7th December 2020 to 31st March 2021.  Air Asia is adding additional new routes to give more choices in the current climate.

The new routes will connect:

  • Langkawi – Ipoh,
  • Langkawi – Kota Bharu,
  • Johor Bahru – Bintulu,
