With the signing of the Singapore Airlines, Air Mauritius codeshare agreement, travellers will find it easier to book that dream holiday from anywhere on the Singapore Airlines Route Network. Likewise, travellers out of Mauritius will also have a wider range of travel options available, around the Asia Pacific region in particular. While the agreement is still subject to regulatory approval the new codeshare agreement is expected to take effect for travellers from 1st November 2016, with ticket bookings expected to be available in the near future.
Located in the Indian Ocean, just east of Madagascar, this island nation is part of Africa and the three flights per week out of Singapore on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday are the return legs of the flights in on Friday, Sunday and Monday. Under the agreement, Singapore Airlines will add its ‘SQ’ designator code to Air Mauritius-operated flights between Singapore and Mauritius.
