AirAsia X (AAX) adds to its presence in Central Asia with new route Tashkent Uzbekistan joining their first, Almaty in Kazakhstan in early 2024, which has proven very popular with travellers from Malaysia. The new route will take off three times weekly, commencing on 15th October 2025.

There is a three hour time difference between Kuala Lumpur and Tashkent, which means taking off your just under 8 hour flight after lunch, will have you nicely in Tashkent for dinner, while on the way to Kuala Lumpur, your early evening departure will see you in Terminal 2 at KLIA, for your breakfast.
