Malindo Air flies to China’s Green City of Nanning

Malindo Air will fly to a new destination in China from 18th August 2018. The twice weekly flights out of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Nanning are via Penang International Airport.

Pick up an Economy Class one-way ticket from MYR599 to China’s ‘Green City’ from Kuala Lumpur. Out of Penang it’s from MYR400. If you’re looking for a Business Class seat, tickets start at MYR1,099 one-way from Kuala Lumpur and MYR899 from Penang. 

Booking is available through the Malindo Air website, their ticketing offices, customer care centre and preferred travel agents.

The flight leaves Kuala Lumpur in the early evening and after a quick stopover in Penang lands in Nanning at 11pm. The return flight, leaving just after midnight, will have you in Penang or Kuala Lumpur for an early breakfast.

Malindo Air uses their narrow-body Boeing 737NG aircraft, with 12 Business and 150 Economy seats, on this route.

Why Nanning?

Nanning is the capital of Guangxi region, close to the border with Vietnam. The city is known as the green city for its lush tropical greenery and recreational opportunities. Foodies and shopaholics will also be pleased as the city offers vibrant dining and shopping haunts reflecting the diverse culture of this beautiful city.

He added that the airline is anticipating that growing demand will result in higher frequencies in the near future. In commenting about the airline’s route network growth, he added

….. we aim to bring in more passengers to Malaysia to support the growth of the local travel industry as well. This new service will also promote multiple cities of Malaysia and encourage travellers to travel beyond their arriving city.
