Do you want to be among the first to they the Singapore Airlines A380 new cabin products? The first of the aircraft fitted with the new cabin products arrived in Singapore on 14th December and will go into service in a few days.
What are the A380 new cabin products?
The five new A380s will arrive fitted with 471 seats over four classes:
- Six Suites,
- 78 Business Class
- 44 Premium Economy Class
- 343 in Economy Class.
The new products will initially be fitted in these aircraft as they arrive from Airbus. The 14 aircraft currently in service will undergo retrofit work after the new aircraft join the fleet. To learn more about the new products, check out our earlier story.
Where can I fly to try?
The new A380 will make its first scheduled flight between Singapore and Sydney on 18th December as flight SQ221. The flight departs Singapore at 8.40pm and lands in Sydney at 07.40am the next morning. It will return as flight SQ232, departing Sydney at 12.15pm to arrive in Singapore at 17.35pm.
In addition to Sydney, the Airline’s A380s serve Auckland, Beijing, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, Melbourne, Mumbai, New Delhi, New York, Paris, Shanghai and Zurich. These routes will progressively see the new cabin products on board.
