AirAsia have announced a special flight for fans to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 Final match between Malaysia and Thailand on 17 December.
AirAsia Flight AK 882, an A320 aircraft featuring the Harimau Muda livery, will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 11.45am on 17th December for Bangkok-Don Mueang. Wear your fan colours so you can roar too!
In a statement issued on 15 December, AirAsia says “Flight AK 882 and other flights from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok-Don Mueang with various flight time options to choose from are available for booking and immediate travel, with fares for a return journey (Kuala Lumpur – Bangkok-Don Mueang – Kuala Lumpur) from as low as RM390, including airport tax and fuel surcharge.”
The booking period is from now until 20 December 2014, for the travel period from 17 – 22 December 2014.
Bookings can be made at the AirAsia website, as well as via AirAsia’s mobile apps on iPhone, Android devices and also AirAsia’s mobile site.
The airline is also flying 15 winners of a Twitter contest organized by AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes recently, to watch the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 Final in Bangkok. Each has won a free return flight on AirAsia, complimentary accommodation with Tune Hotels and tickets for the final match between Malaysia and Thailand at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.
AirAsia currently serves the Kuala Lumpur – Bangkok-Don Mueang route with 80 weekly flights.
