The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group will reinstate East Asia flights and increase services to other key destinations across its network in coming weeks, as border restrictions further ease across the region. This move allows SIA and Scoot to meet the increasing demand for international travel, particularly towards the year-end holiday season into the first quarter of 2023.
East Asia flights
JoAnn Tan, Singapore Airlines Senior Vice President Marketing Planning says the airline is buoyed by the further easing of entry requirements in Hong Kong SAR, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, China and they are seeing strong demand for air travel towards the year-end holiday season. The increase in services is a response to this pent-up demand. Full details on the new services, additional frequencies and other information are available for both SIA’s East Asia services and Scoot (including Indonesia).
Japan
From 30th October 2022, SIA is adding additional services to Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita Airports. These are in addition to the existing service from Singapore to Los Angeles via Tokyo Narita.
