SIA-Ethiopian Airlines codeshare details
Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Ethiopian Airlines have agreed to expand their codeshare agreement as of 1st June 2017. This will offer passengers travelling between Asia and Africa a wider range of seamless connectivity options.
The expanded codeshare agreement includes Ethiopian Airlines’ planned daily non-stop services to Singapore from Addis Ababa. The service is due to be launched in June 2017. Travellers who enjoy privileges from Star Alliance members both Airlines will enjoy access to Ethiopian Airlines’ vast intra-African network.
Where can we go?
The Ethiopian Airlines network includes countries like Botswana, Burkina Faso, and Chad. Travel to Kenya, South Africa for that safari trip. Or head off to Tanzania, Cote D’Ivoire, Nigeria or Mozambique. The Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Seychelles or Zimbabwe also feature on the airline’s network.
In the opposite direction, Ethiopian Airlines customers will have easier access to multiple destinations in Asia and Oceania. Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Thailand and Vietnam will become much more accessible.

The SIA-Ethiopian Airlines codesharing agreement was offered on each other’s flights to and from Dubai in 2011. The expanded codeshare flights are subject to regulatory approvals and will be progressively made available for sale across various sales channels.
