UPDATE, 27th January 2015 –
Sadly, Nick Kyrgios has ended his great run at the Australian Tennis Open making it into the last eight of a Grand Slam competition for the second time as a teenager. The last remaining Australian player went down in straight sets to Andy Murray who indicated after the match that the 19 year old should not be underestimated and has a long way to go in his career. We wish Nick Kyrgios all the best and agree with his comment that he’s “actually very happy. It’s been an emotional couple of weeks, competing in the quarter-finals is not too bad”.
25th January 2015 – Update on Australian Open results:
Nick Kyrgios has raised his game again to knock out Italian Giant Killer Andreas Seppi in a five set fight to take him through to a place in the Quarter Finals of the Australian Tennis Open currently underway in Melbourne.
Big serving Seppi knocked out Roger Federer in Round Three and was favoured by many to continue his run.
You can fly on Nick’s partner airline which is currently offering great fares from all Australian mainland Capital cities to Malaysia and beyond. The collaboration between Malaysia Airlines and the young Australian rising tennis star was announced in December 2014.
