Improved KLIA Ekspres frequency offers air travellers more convenience when making the journey to KLIA Terminal 1 and 2. Effective from 1st August 2023, KLIA Ekspres will now run every 20 minutes all day, every day including national holidays.
Improved KLIA Ekspres frequency
With the new schedule, the first train will depart from KL Sentral at 5:00 am, while from KLIA Terminal 2, the first train departs at 4:55 am. The last train departure from both terminals is at 12:00 am (midnight).
For KLIA Transit, the train schedule remains the same, with one minor change. One trip from Putrajaya & Cyberjaya Station to KL Sentral at 07:59 am on weekdays will be removed. Service frequency during weekday peak hours is maintained at every 15 minutes.
Whether you’re a traveller or daily commuter, you should check the train schedule and plan your journey ahead. The journey from KL Sentral to KLIA T2 by KLIA Ekspres takes 33 minutes (KLIA T1 is 28 mins). By KLIA Transit, the same journey will take 39 minutes. This will ensure you have sufficient time for flight check-in/bag drop, immigration and security clearance at the airport.
