Batik Air to fly Kuala Lumpur – Melbourne direct

Batik Air Malaysia will launch their first Kuala Lumpur – Melbourne direct A330 flights, on 20th December, 2023. The seasonal flight schedule, available up to 6th February, 2024, caters to the rising demand for travel to Australia during the peak holiday and travel season. This service will utilise the latest Batik Air modern wide body A330 fleet, offering passengers a more comfortable travel experience.

Flight OD 175 takes off from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) four times per week – every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:20 pm, landing in Melbourne at 5:15 am (local time) the following day, getting travellers on the ground ready for a full day in or around Melbourne. The return flight, OD 176, leaves Melbourne on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing from MEL at 6:45 am and arriving in KUL at 12:10 pm.

To commemorate the launch, Batik Air is offering special promotional fares for all-inclusive one-way Economy Class tickets from RM899, and RM5,299 for Business Class. Tickets are on sale until 10th December, 2023, for travel between 20th and 30th December, 2023.

Batik Air offers a selection of pre-purchased meals and additional baggage allowance at discounted rates. Meals and drinks are also available for sale on-board on all Batik Air flights.
