AirAsia X has added Tokyo Narita with the inaugural flight taking off from Kuala Lumpur on 20th November 2020. The airline used their the first high-speed WiFi-equipped wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft, to mark the occasion. The inaugural flight D7552, left just after midnight at 0015hrs and was welcomed with an early morning traditional water salute.
The four weekly return services add over 150,000 extra seats annually using Kuala Lumpur’s klia2 and Narita International Airports,. This is a big boost to tourism and the economy ahead of Visit Malaysia 2020 and the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The maiden flight to Tokyo Narita used AirAsia’s first A330 aircraft equipped with high-speed AirAsia WiFi services . These give guests access to streamed videos and real-time social media updates 35,000ft in the sky. BIG members on board the inaugural fright were each given a complimentary 10MB internet plan.
