…. We are very happy to add Shantou into our list of destinations in China. There has been a demand for this route, and we are pleased to announce this four times weekly direct flight. We are positive that this route will further add towards the number of Chinese tourist arrivals into Malaysia, especially with the recent announcement by the government to relax visa policies for China visitors into the country. Why visit Shantou?
Many overseas Chinese have links with Shantou, on the eastern coast of Guangdong province, as it has a long history of emigration. The long coastline combined with a pleasant subtropical marine climate ensures the area has much to interest visitors.
Among the popular tourist attractions are Nan Ao Island, Qing Ao Bay, Lotus Peak, Queshi Scenic Spot, Chen CiHong’s former residence, Symbolic Tower of the Tropic of Cancer, Zhongshan Park and Rainbow Shadows in the Harbour, which are collectively known as the Eights Sights of Shantou not to be missed.
This combination of beautiful mountains, beaches, and islands, as well as the calming scenery surrounding the harbour, offer a comforting environment for those seeking to relax away from their busy everyday lives.
