A new partnership for Malaysia Airlines through a new codeshare partnership with SNCF Voyageurs, France’s national rail operator, will enable seamless air and European rail connectivity between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and 28* railway destinations across France.
European rail connectivity, seamlessly
The partnership will be offered under SNCF Voyageurs’ TRAIN + AIR product, integrating air and rail services into a single connected journey. This allows Malaysia Airlines customers travelling into Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to conveniently extend their journey beyond the airport to major French and regional cities via France’s high-speed rail network. Tickets are available for purchase from 10th July 2026 on Malaysia Airlines’ official website.
…. This partnership with SNCF Voyageurs represents a key step in advancing our broader strategy to deliver truly seamless, end-to-end connectivity for our customers across Europe. By integrating air and rail under a unified travel experience, we are extending our network reach beyond CDG to 28 destinations across France, enhancing connectivity, while offering customers greater convenience through seamless connections and a single itinerary.Bryan Foong, CEO of Airline Business, Malaysia Aviation Group
This partnership will see Malaysia Airlines’ marketing code placed on SNCF-operated rail services under AccesRail’s IATA code “9B”, enabling customers to book rail segments as part of their onward itineraries via CDG. Travellers will benefit from a seamless end-to-end travel experience with a single booking, coordinated connections and simplified transfers, making it easier to access key regional cities such as Lyon, Strasbourg, Rennes, Lille and Marseille. This collaboration further strengthens Malaysia Airlines’ MHrail initiative and reinforces its commitment to expanding integrated air-rail connectivity across key global gateways. This initiative includes strategic hubs such as Seoul and London Heathrow, and forms part of its broader network and customer experience strategy. Further, this partnership reinforces Malaysia Airlines’ on-going efforts to redefine connectivity through strategic partnerships that extend beyond traditional aviation networks.
