Singapore Airlines (SIA) has made a number of network adjustments for the 2026 Northern Summer. Between 29th March and 24th October 2026, covering the 2026 Northern Summer operating season, the airline will adjust flight frequencies and boost passenger capacity on selected routes across its global network, in response to increased demand for travel during this period.

Singapore Airlines’ network adjustments for 2026 northern summer season

Singapore Airlines’ adjustments to its flight schedules for the 2026 Northern Summer season between 29th March and 24th October 2026, are detailed below. Please note that all flight services are subject to regulatory approvals, and aircraft deployment may vary based on operational requirements. Tickets will be available for sale progressively through SIA’s various distribution channels and direct through their website.

Europe

Barcelona, Spain

From 1st July to 3rd September 2026, SIA will delink its three-times weekly Singapore-Milan-Barcelona services. During this period, SQ388 and SQ387 will operate as a five-times weekly direct service between Singapore and Barcelona, Spain, up from the current twice-weekly service.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

From 1st July 2026 to 24th October 2026, SIA will operate its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on flight services between Singapore and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, introducing SIA’s First Class cabin products on this route.

North Asia

Taipei

From 29th March to 31st May 2026, SIA will operate a four-times weekly supplementary service on the Singapore-Taipei route, bringing the total number of services to Taipei to 18 times weekly.

South West Pacific

Cairns, Australia

From 7th July to 22nd September 2026, SIA will operate one additional weekly service between Singapore and Cairns, Australia, increasing the total number of services to Cairns to five-times weekly.

South East Asia

Bangkok, Thailand

From 29th March 2026, SIA will operate an additional daily flight between Singapore and Bangkok, bringing the total number of services to Bangkok to seven-times daily.

Yangon, Myanmar

From 31st March 2026 to 24th October 2026, SIA will operate three additional weekly services between Singapore and Yangon. This is up from seven weekly flights, bringing the total to 10 times weekly.

Surabaya, Indonesia

From 29th March 2026, SIA will operate two additional weekly services between Singapore and Surabaya, bringing the total to 21 times weekly.

West Asia and Africa

Colombo, Sri Lanka

SIA will operate 10 weekly services between Singapore and Colombo from 29th March to 30th April 2026. From 1st May 2026, this will increase to twice daily 14 weekly services, up from 10-times weekly services.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

From 29th March to 24th October 2026, SIA will operate its Airbus A380 aircraft instead of the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on services between Singapore and Dubai.
