Penang is not just about healthcare; it’s rich in culture and leisure activities. Visitors can explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of George Town, enjoy delicious street food, or relax on Batu Ferringhi’s beautiful beaches.

Chandran noted the potential of this direct Penang-Jakarta route, pointing out that in 2023, over 160,000 Indonesian tourists visited Penang. This shows that Indonesia is an important market, with many young professionals and families attracted to Penang’s cultural heritage, festivals, and food.
