Singapore Airlines has confirmed Singapore-Melbourne flights are back with the reopening of borders as vaccination rates rise in Victoria. While flights until the scheduled date are available, most are codeshare arrangements with Virgin Australia via a second Australian city and loads may be capped due to quarantine quotas. These are set to be scrapped with the border opening. You can check the flight schedule to find your preferred date, with sales already open.
Singapore-Melbourne flight conditions
The Victorian international border will, however only be open to certain eligible groups of travellers. These include fully-vaccinated Australian citizens, permanent residents and eligible non-citizens from 1st November 2021. Eligible non-citizens may include parents and other close relatives of citizens and permanent residents.
Bookings on the 14 weekly Singapore-Melbourne and Melbourne-Singapore route are available now, via various sales channels including the Singapore Airlines website for eligible customers on flights tagged as “For Eligible Passengers Only” (FEPO).
