This is a great time for picking up a good deal on airfares with the holiday season just around the corner.
With festivals, summer holidays / winter holidays, school holidays or just a regular break, this is a great time to take advantage of the smorgasbord of offerings from various airlines. We’ve checked out a few of the offers available and there are plenty more hiding in there.
Virgin Australia
Virgin Australia has a number of tempting ‘End of Financial Year’ deals on offer for those waiting for a tax refund! You can visit the Hunter Valley with fares from $69 ex Brisbane, to Newcastle. Or perhaps a visit to the National Capital – How does Melbourne to Canberra from $99 sound? Head off to Townsville from Brisbane from $125 or If you’re in Sydney, go to Uluru and see the big Rock from $159.
They also have fares from Perth to Broome starting at $189 and there are lots more at the Virgin Australia website for various travel dates.
Fares are for economy travel and many come inclusive of checked baggage, a meal or snack and seat selection. Sale is on until 30th June at midnight, AEST.
Jetstar
Jetstar also have some great offers on at the moment if you are in Malaysia or Singapore. Flights between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are available for MYR43, or Penang to Singapore for MYR78. It’s important to remember that these fares come with only 7kg of carry-on luggage and although they include all the taxes, there is a MYR20 booking fee. AirAsia
AirAsia is currently holding their Free Seat Sale with base fares from MYR0, which means you can pick up a domestic flight from as low as MYR 10 or an International fare out of Kuala Lumpur for MYR37.

They also have some great offers available on hotel + flight packages at AirAsiaGO and if you’re a BIG loyalty card member, you can use your rewards points as well.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
KLM have a very easy to follow sale fare finder and they seem to have plenty to choose from at the moment. Make sure you check your country at the top right hand side of the page for the promo fares available from your location.
Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways have lots of fares on offer in both economy and business class at the moment from Kuala Lumpur to various destinations, though most are available until the 25th June for travel between 1st Sep 2015 and 29th Feb 2016. Select for country from the flag in the top right hand corner for your best deals.
Emirates
Fancy a holiday in Venice? You can fly from Australia for AUD 1515, if you book before 30th June 2015 for travel between 27th September and 25th November 2015. The handy thing about Emirates is that they don’t have any blackout periods and they also code-share with Qantas. For this destination, or one of the others on offer, use this LINK.
