Malaysia Airlines is starting the year with a fresh invitation to travellers: make 2026 a year of new experiences with its Time for New Chapters campaign. Designed to inspire meaningful journeys, the campaign encourages travellers to plan ahead for holidays, family reunions, milestone celebrations, and business trips throughout the year.
New Year Campaign for Visit Malaysia 2026
From 7th to 20th January, you can pick up some great fares for travel until 30th November 2026, with all-in return tickets starting from RM159. Enrich members enjoy priority access on 6th January, along with an extra five per cent off promotional fares. For those who aren’t members yet, this is the perfect time to join and unlock added benefits.
The ‘Time for New Chapters’ New Year campaign opens up Malaysia Airlines’ growing network, giving travellers options to visit global cities such as London, Seoul, and Shanghai, as well as regional favourites such as Cebu, Siem Reap, and Krabi via sister airline Firefly from KLIA Terminal 1. Kuala Lumpur also serves as a gateway to Malaysia through the Bonus Side Trip programme, which turns stopovers into opportunities to explore destinations like Penang and Langkawi – perfectly timed for Visit Malaysia 2026.
Onboard, Malaysia Airlines continues to showcase their signature Malaysian hospitality. Passengers flying on the new A330neo aircraft to destinations including Tokyo, Bali, Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland can expect a modern experience with ergonomically designed seats, large HD entertainment screens, and complimentary Wi-Fi via MHconnect. Selected aircraft also feature MHstudio for on-demand entertainment, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey. Hopefully other routes will use the A320neo as their new aircraft arrive.
Food lovers will appreciate the airline’s Best of Malaysia and Best of Asia menus, offering visitors a sneak peek (taste) of authentic flavours in the sky. From January, travellers can savour Selangor-inspired dishes such as Daging Semur and Ayam Semur with fragrant Nasi Minyak on selected flights from Sabah and Sarawak to Kuala Lumpur. Regional routes will feature South Korean-inspired dishes in January and February, followed by Thai favourites in March and April, including Spicy Gogi Jorim, Dak Bokkeum Tang, Pad Phet Chicken, and Massaman Curry.
Get that calendar out and start the year with an adventure and experience the warmth of Malaysian hospitality. Book your next journey through the Malaysia Airlines website or download their app.
