Malaysia Airlines will deploy their Flagship Airbus A350 to Doha from 1st April 2024 for both of their daily nonstop services out of Kuala Lumpur.
The airline has been using the Airbus A350 aircraft on one of its daily services since November 2023, using an Airbus A330-300 on the second. This will be replaced by the newly acquired Airbus A350. This aircraft boasts a seating capacity of 300, including 40 in Business Class, 32 in Economy Comfort which feature larger seat pitch and width and 228 in Economy Class. With a 1-2-1 configuration, the Business Class cabin features the Thompson XL Vantage seats, providing passengers with comfort and direct aisle access for easy movement, in addition to more storage space to ensure practicality and accessibility.
However, even if you’re flying this Airbus A350 to Doha or elsewhere in the Economy cabins, with the upgrade to the Airbus A350 aircraft on both daily flights, you’ll experience state-of-the-art seats in all cabin classes and an innovative in-flight entertainment experience, ensuring a seamless and comfortable journey.
This is an important route for Malaysia Airlines, which enjoys a strategic partnership with Qatar Airways. In a statement, the Group Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), said
…. The strategic decision to deploy our A350s on both daily services reflects our commitment to continually enhancing the passenger experience, aligning with one of our key customer priorities: ensuring optimal cabin comfort.Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Group MD
His words were echoed by the Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, who added
…. Since the launch of Malaysia Airlines’ first flight to our award-winning hub, Hamad International Airport in Doha almost two years ago, our partnership growth has been driven by our mutual desire to provide our customers with robust access when travelling to new destinations and ensuring a comfortable and seamless travel experience.Engr.
