Malindo Air and KLIA Ekspres have strengthened their partnership through the sale of KLIA Ekspres tickets on the Malindo Air website. KLIA Ekspres is operated by Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL). This e-ticketing facility strengthens the partnership established with the airline’s check-in service at KL Sentral in December 2016.
Malindo Air has an established presence at Kuala Lumpur’s Sentral Station. Their KL Sentral sales office is in an enclave behind the City check-in counters and this new avenue for ticket purchases to the airport is a welcome development. Travellers can now say goodbye to your luggage when you check-in at KL Sentral. Board the train for the quick trip to KLIA. Your luggage will be waiting for you at the baggage carousel after your flight.
You’re wondering ‘How safe is my luggage/? The KL Sentral’s city check-in has been in operation for sixteen years. They offer services to a number of airlines leaving from KLIA including Malindo Air and Malaysia Airlines. The bags travel in a baggage compartment on the same KLIA Ekspres trains. City check-in claim a 100% security and delivery record for checked-in luggage. Economy Traveller have used this facility on occasion, with no issues.
Malindo Air began operations in March 2013 and has built a network of flights Asean, the sub continent, Australia and other regional Asian countries. Malindo Air’s network of 55 routes across the region offers over 800 flights weekly.
