Batik Air flies to Tashkent, Land of The Great Silk Road

The Great Silk Road is a description that brings up images of mysterious lands with mystical cities and people. Tashkent, in Uzbekistan is such city and Batik Air has announced the introduction of non-stop flights from Kuala Lumpur to Tashkent commencing on 8th December 2023.

Great Silk Road: the journey starts here

The twice weekly service departs Kuala Lumpur (KUL) as Flight OD751 will depart every Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm, arriving in Tashkent (TAS) at 9.55pm. The return flight, OD752, departs TAS at 11.25pm to arrive in KLIA at 9.45am. The time in Kuala Lumpur is 3 hours ahead of Tashkent.

Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is a city that can trace its origins back to at least the first or second century BCE. With it’s over 2000 year history and vibrant multi-ethnic cultures,  Tashkent offers a fascinating blend of tradition and modernity.

Pick up an all-inclusive one-way fare from RM2,553 for Economy Class out of Kuala Lumpur and RM4,003 for Business Class. Batik Air also offers a selection of pre-purchased meals and additional baggage allowance at discounted rates. Meals and drinks are also available for sale on-board in all Batik Air flights.
