AirAsia X has been doing weekly Kuala Lumpur-Sydney return flights carrying cargo for quite a number of months. Now, it’s time for passengers waiting for an opportunity to get home to either Australia or Malaysia as border restrictions ease.
Special Kuala Lumpur-Sydney return flights
AirAsia X will operate a special return service between Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Sydney, Australia on 2nd December 2021. These flights offer Malaysians and Australians the opportunity to travel home to reunite with family and friends ahead of Christmas and the end of year holidays.
AirAsia X will operate the following flights on 2nd December 2021:

Book flights either to Sydney or Kuala Lumpur from RM1,499 or AUD499 one way all-inclusive* on Economy Seats. You can experience the Premium Flatbed from RM6,999 or AUD1,999 one way all-inclusive* for travel on 2nd December 2021. Passengers affected by the AirAsia X restructuring scheme may redeem their credits to book on this specific flight. Fully vaccinated travellers must obtain all the necessary approvals from relevant authorities prior to departure and comply with requirements set by the Australian Government and Malaysian Government prior to purchasing their flights and upon arrival.
