In signing an agreement that’s a first for AirAsia in Australia, The Flight Centre Travel Group (FLT) and AirAsia Group have agreed to work together proactively to promote the airline’s fares and create some unique offerings for customers that will grow the outbound travel market.
Australia is an important market for AirAsia X and from the initial Gold Coast access point in Australia, it has expanded its coverage to all the mainland capitals, giving a jump off point for passengers from all these states to the wider AirAsia network.
Flight Centre customers will now have easier access to more than a hundred AirAsia destinations across the region, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, India and Taiwan. In addition they will be able to enjoy access to AirAsia’s retail travel stores and company brands.
By saving on the flight component of their holidays they will have more to spend more on accommodation which is expected to appeal to those looking to visit destinations popular with Australian travellers, particularly Bali, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur and Krabi.
Flight Centre is offering some special AirAsia promo fare deals this Friday, 5th June in their Friday Flight Club. These offers are only available between10:00am and 1:00pm AEST so get your fingers ready.
