Numbers bounce back
Malaysia Airlines growth in the Australian market is up 7.8% in February 2015, compared to the same month a year ago, according to the latest Australian Government International Airline Activity report.
Australia is Malaysia Airlines’ main market outside of Malaysia with 80 direct flights per week from various Australian airports to Malaysia, connecting to more than 60 destinations worldwide including daily A380 flights to Paris and twice daily to London.
The airline has been flying to and from Australia for over 40 years and the airline is encouraged by the community’s growing confidence in the airline as a world class operation.
Following the successful partnerships with bestselling author and MasterChef favourite Poh Ling Yeow, and tennis superstar Nick Kyrgios, both of whom have strong Malaysian heritage, the airline is further celebrating the collaboration with Nick Kyrgios in the lead-up to Wimbledon.
Win a trip to Wimbledon
Kyrgios has now beaten two of the best, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer on the courts, helping his steady rise in the ATP rankings. To celebrate the Malaysia Airlines/Nick Kyrgios partnership, the airline is running a one-off competition until the end of May offering fans the opportunity to win a Business Class trip to the Wimbledon Men’s Grand Final, staying in luxury at the Hilton London Green Park.
Other monthly prizes include trips to Kuala Lumpur and autographed tennis merchandise.
To take part, all you need to do is purchase a Malaysia Airlines’ ticket between 1st February and 31st May 2015 and post a message of support for Nick HERE and like Malaysia Airlines’ competition post on Facebook. The entries will be judged on the most inspiring answer.
