Passengers flying out of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) can now enjoy an easier way to buy a ticket, check-in and travel to the airport, with the opening of the Malindo Air City Check-in and Ticketing Office on 17th January 2017. At the launch, the Malindo Air City Check-in counter and Ticketing Office were officially opened for business by the Malaysian Deputy Transport Minister, YB Datuk Aziz Kaprawi.

The new service is promoted as a hassle free process, with travellers advised to allow three hours to complete their check-in and baggage drop, before catching the KLIA Ekspres to the airport.

Malindo Air’s new KL Sentral Ticketing Office is open between 9am and 8pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. This is the third ticketing office after those already set up in Medan Tuanku and NU Sentral, also in Kuala Lumpur.

Ticket bookings may also be made online, at the Malindo Air website or mobile site for smartphones. Additionally, you may also make bookings through your preferred travel agent or by phoning the call centre – 603 7841 5388 between 9am and 9pm daily.

Speaking to invited guests and members of the media, Malindo Air CEO Chandran Rama Muthy spoke of future plans for further expansion, making the city check-in a convenient way for the growing number of passenger to travel to the airport hassle free and see their checked bags again only when they reach their destination. His comments also demonstrated confidence in the airline industry, as he spoke of increases in frequency and destinations as well as the planned addition of extra aircraft during 2017.
