Travellers from China facing travel curbs

As the country reopens its borders, travellers from China will have different conditions to fulfil depending on their destination.

Hong Kong scraps quarantine from 26th September 2022 for all arrivals after more than 2.5 years. Testing and self monitoring are still required.

Malaysia has removed the Travellers Pass requirement for Malaysian citizens returning to the country from 4th July 2022.

Visitors to the tropical Kingdom will welcome the removal of Thailand Pass scheme and the health insurance requirement from 1st July 2022.

Malaysia Covid arrival tests will be scrapped from 1st May 2022 for all fully vaccinated travellers. Other SOPs relaxed.

Travellers can now use their AirAsia X travel credits as the airline resumes flights to a growing number of destinations.

We look forward to the relaxation of travel restrictions as travel ramps up post-covid and borders reopen.

AirAsia is working with Century Medical Centre, Medijaya to reduce the cost of Covid-19 tests at klia2 from 17th April.
