Malaysian ‘Beyond Convenience’ airline Firefly has today begun advertising in-flight meals for purchase. Although most of Firefly’s flights out of Subang Skypark are quite short with many under an hour long, some would welcome the opportunity to have a slightly more substantial meal than the complimentary peanuts or bun offered as part of the ticket. As an introductory offer until 20th November, the meals, normally priced at MYR 12.50, will be available for a special price of MYR 9.50 when booked with your ticket.
There are currently five meals available, including Malaysian favourites Chicken rice and Nasi Lemak as well as spaghetti bolognaise and macaroni cheese. To cater for those with a spicy preference, there is also the option of spaghetti mamak style (a type of Malaysian street food).
The meals are only available for flights out of Subang Skypark and are ‘self collect’ and take on board, though this is not clear from the website. The meals are prepared by Circle K located in the terminal and can be collected from their CKM collection centre.
