AirAsia has announced that flights booked from their website between 3rd and 8th March 2015 for travel dates between 5th March and 12th July will all come at 20% off the base fares. Of course, all applicable taxes etc, still need to be paid.

When you consider that the airline no longer adds on a fuel surcharge, this might be the chance you’ve been waiting for to book that dream holiday as the offer applies to all AirAsia and AirAsia X flights with flight code AK (Malaysia AirAsia), D7 (Malaysia AirAsia X), FD (Thailand AirAsia), XJ (Thailand AirAsia X), QZ (Indonesia AirAsia).

The only exceptions are domestic flights within Indonesia, XT (Indonesia AirAsia Extra), PQ (Philippines AirAsia) and Z2 (AirAsia Zest).

The 20% discount is also applicable to bookings made via AirAsia’s mobile app on iPhone and Android devices, as well as on their mobile site.

In announcing the offer fares, Spencer Lee, Commercial Head of AirAsia said: “The AirAsia Group has the largest route network across this region, and we believe that this 20% off all seats and all flights promotion will spur more demand for travel especially with the ease and convenience we provide through our vast network.”

He added “This would be a great opportunity for our guests to plan their dream holiday to exciting destinations across Asia and Australia; from a beach holiday at Phuket, shopping spree at Hong Kong, food trail in Penang or even a city escapade at Busan!”.
